https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Bajolet-1:
Barbe Bajolet was baptised on June 22 1608 at Piney, Champagne, France. [2] She was the daughter of Antoine Bajolet and Jeanne Baudinet.[1]
Around 1629 she married Isaac Pesseley, in France. Between about 1630 and 1645, the couple had eight children: Etienne, Marguerite, Perrette, Jeanne, Charlotte, Henriette, Gilles, and Marie. Etienne, Marguerite and Perrette were baptised at Piney (Champagne) France.[1]
Barbe married again at St-Barthélemy de La Rochelle, France on January 10 1647. Her spouse was Martin Lefebvre de Montespy. They had two children, both baptised at St-Jean-de-La-Rochelle: Louise (b. 29 Oct 1647) and Marie-Anne (born. 10 Oct 1649; baptised 18 april 1650).[1]
Her third marriage took place on October 17 1654, at St-Jean de La Rochelle, Aunis, France. Her husband was Savinien de Courpon, widower of Olive de Laubaure. No children were recorded from this marriage[1]
DNA. The Mothers of Acadia Maternal DNA project is conducting ongoing research to verify their origins. In 2010, Stephen White reported Barbe Bajolet had an X2b haplogroup. I don't know the details re how many of her descendants were tested to support this report. Lucie Leblanc Constantino reported one result here, interpreting the result as of European origin. Ongoing test results are also reported [ here]. As of July 2016, 7 descendants have reported a haplogroup X, of which three have a full sequence test, refining the haplogroup to X2b7. Most of the time, X haplogroup indicates European origins. Acadian haplogroup X belongs in Native American haplogroup X when mutations 8913G, 12397G, and 14502C are present. To date, these mutations are not found in the reported results.
What month was Barbe Bajolet baptized?
Every reference cited indicates that she was baptized on May 22, 1608. However, examination of the actual parish register shows that the baptism took place in June.

Notes for Barbe Bajolet:
- Barbe Bajolet’s baptism is recorded: “was baptized Barbe, daughter of Antoine Baiole first muleteer to the Queen de Medecis and Jehanne his wife. Godfather Anthoine Contant. Godmothers Barbe, wife of Pierre Paisseley, and Jeanne widow of Jehan Paisseley”
- Second husband Martin Lefebvre was born at St. Symphorien, Reims, France, and died 15 November 1651 at St. Jean du Perrot, La Rochelle, France. They were married 10 January 1647 at St. Barthelemy de La Rochelle, Aunis, France. He was Sieur de Montespy and Secretaire Ordinaire of the Money Chamber of King Louis XIV.
- Third husband Savinien de Courpon was born (unknown), and died Bef. 1661. They were married 17 October 1654 at St. Jean de La Rochelle, Aunis, France. Admiral Savinien de Courpon was in the Caribbean between 1641 and 1648 where he was taken prisoner by the Turks. France arranged his release in exchange for a famous Corsaire who was detained in Marseilles. His wife at the time was the ex-Baronness Savigny. When she went to meet her husband upon his release on the Island of Saint-Martin, she found him in the company of another woman. The jealous wife stabbed him in the neck with a bayonet when he was asleep in a drunken stupor. De Courpon survived the attack and condemned her to be executed. Barbe Bajolet became the second wife of this widower of Nantes who was Captain of a vessel. (He was a retired Admiral of a fleet named 'Des 100 Associés' who transported supplies & goods between France and Acadia). With her third husband and the children of her two preceding marriages, Barbe Bajolet returned to Acadia. Her family settled on a fief which was conceded to them by Charles de la Tour. A few years later, widowed again, thrice-widowed Barbe asked a vessel from Boston to give passage for her and her family to Port-Royal. It would be soon after that her daughter Marie Pesseley would marry Jean Pitre.
